The Australian Doctors' Fund (ADF) has researched the above concept which has been created by the Federal Government under the heading of "Health care reform".
The ADF has relied on an undated and unsigned document entitled, "Medicare Locals Discussion paper on Governance and Functions" which was first posted on the Federal Government's website www.yourhealth.gov.au, twice on 29 October 2010 and subsequently reposted on 20 January 2011 on the same website with no discernable changes that the ADF can detect.
