Yet Another Senate Inquiry into AHPRA

Last month, another senate inquiry was launched into AHPRA’s practices following previous inquiries in 2017 and 2011. Submissions are due for this latest inquiry on 30th April, and more information about it can be found here: https://www.aph.gov.au/Parliamentary_Business/Committees/Senate/Finance_and_Public_Administration/Completed_inquiries/2010-13/healthpractitionerregistration/index

As the ADF prepare a response, find attached our previous submission from the 2011 inquiry to see how these issues have been addressed in the past. The ADF supports the senate in holding AHPRA responsible for their practices, and it is essential that the current inquiry is informed on the history of the agency.
